It says I have exceeded my download limit but I do not have my files. What should I do?

Write to us and we will reset it. There is no charge and no argument, and it usually takes one message.

Send the email address you bought with, and tell us which program is stuck. We put your attempts back and you carry on.

Why there is a limit at all

Every file allows 25 download attempts. That number exists to stop a single order link being passed around and downloaded a thousand times, not to ration you.

Twenty five is generous for one buyer. If a download works the first time, you need one.

How people run out without noticing

Every click on "Download" counts, including the ones that go nowhere. A stalled download on hotel wifi, a phone that drops the connection, a browser that starts over: each of those spends an attempt and leaves you with nothing.

Clicking again because nothing seemed to happen is the usual way a limit runs out. Four impatient clicks on four files is sixteen attempts, and no files.

Getting through it cleanly

Download on a computer on a stable connection, and give each file time to finish before you touch anything. Use "Download All" where it is offered, since that is one action rather than one per title.

Then move the files somewhere permanent straight away. Not the downloads folder. A music folder, a cloud drive, an external disk, anywhere you will still have them next year.

Done that way, most people never see this message. The full download walkthrough is here, and if the order email itself has vanished, you can send yourself a fresh link.

Still stuck?

If this did not answer it, the rest of the Help Center might, and we answer every email personally.
